Hot Mulled Wine

Yield: 4-5 Servings

1 Bottle Dry Red Wine (Claret or Zinfandel)

2 Tablespoons Mulling Spice

1/2 Teaspoon French Grey Sea Salt

¼ Cup Honey

2-3 Tablespoons Brandy (Optional)

Cinnamon Sticks for Garnish

In the late fall, we love nothing more than a mug of hot mulled wine or cider. Whether sitting with a good book in front of the fireplace, or finishing a great meal with friends, nothing is more soothing – or satisfying! It’s always a special treat, and there’s almost ‘nothing to it’ when it comes to preparation.

Place all ingredients in a saucepan placed over medium heat. Stir lightly to combine, reduce heat to low, and steep mixture for 30-45 minutes. Strain mixture to serve.
