Penne Pasta with Romesco Cream Sauce
Yield: 4-6 Servings
1 Package Penne Pasta
1 Cup Half and Half
The list of ingredients for this recipe says it all, but the flavor belies its simplicity. Your guests will find it hard to believe that you all you did was to whip up a few ingredients in your food processor for the sauce (see recipe), add some cream, cook some pasta according to package instructions, and voila! You’ve given them a satisfying, casual meal with a 5-Star restaurant taste. And not just any taste! We’ve taken classic Romesco and enhanced its flavor with the addition of our Casablanca Seasoning Blend. They’d have to fly a lot of miles to find a dish like this!
Prepare pasta until al dente, according to package instructions. Meanwhile, combine sauce and cream in a saucepan placed over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until heated through. Taste for seasoning and add salt and pepper as needed.
When done, drain pasta. Return to pan, add cream sauce, toss and serve.
