Yield: 2 Dozen Wings
2 Dozen Chicken Wings
2 1/2 Cups Plain Greek Yogurt, Divided
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
2 Teaspoons Honey
1 1/2 Tablespoon Spice Masters Seasoning
1 Tablespoon Seville Orange Peel
½ Teaspoon French Grey Sea Salt
Without a doubt, this is one of our favorite recipe for wings! And we think that once you’ve tried this version of the darling of the American bar scene, it’s likely to become your favorite, too. By using our Spice Master’s Seasoning Blend, we’ve turned chicken wings into sophisticated fare. Share these with your guests, and they’ll never look want Buffalo Wings again!
Pat the wings dry and remove the tips. You can use the tips for chicken stock, or include them in your batch of wings.
Combine yogurt, olive oil, lemon, honey, seasoning blend, and salt. Place wings in a sealable plastic bag, add 1 1/2 cup of the yogurt mixture, and massage wings to ensure that they are covered completely with the sauce. Refrigerate wings overnight.
Remove wings from refrigerator and allow to become room temperature. Heat oven to 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place wings on baking sheet and bake on center rack of oven for 20-25 minutes, turning once, until done. Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Serve with dipping sauce of your choice. Our favorite is Espresso Balsamic Aioli, but sometimes we use rest of the yogurt sauce made here.
